Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wisconsin to serve as the first point of contact for families and to lead a high-performing team on the sales floor. You’ll welcome customers, showcase baby and kids’ apparel, and drive store performance with a focus on service and teamwork.

This role requires strong leadership, the ability to coach staff, and a commitment to inclusive, safe shopping experiences for all customers.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with products.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
Coach others to success while maintaining service standards and omnichannel experience.
Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team to improve results.
Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and developing store staff.
Plan and report on tasks and financial results using company tools.
Support merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
