Job summary

Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the restaurant operation and lead a strong team aligned with our CORE values of Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment.

You will ensure safe, welcoming environments for guests and staff, drive fast, friendly service, manage scheduling and labor, and support hiring and training to sustain Border Foods' top industry standards and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Must be able to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure fast and friendly service and quality food.
• Manage scheduling and staff accountability.
• Control costs, inventory, and labor to optimize profitability.
