Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the restaurant’s operations and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly guest experience.

You will uphold Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment while managing labor, costs, and guest service. The role requires 50 hours/week, ServeSafe certification, and a drive for career growth, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year restaurant or retail experience required.
• Experience with sales, P&L, recruiting and training.
• Proven hiring and retention track record.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt; minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and develop Shift Leaders and team members.
• Ensure food safety/quality and compliance with standards.
• Drive profitability by managing labor, inventory, and costs.
• Deliver fast, friendly service and a positive guest experience.
