Wellpath is hiring an HR Specialist Site to oversee recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration within a facilities-based team in California. You will partner with regional and corporate HR to ensure consistent HR policy execution and timely payroll inquiries.

The role emphasizes onboarding, employee development, maintenance of records, and participation in HR projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent HR experience preferred.
• Two years of experience in a Human Resources position and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Corrections and/or Healthcare industry experience is a plus; PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to onsite employees and collaborate with regional and corporate HR to ensure consistent administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support employee relations, leave administration, payroll inquiries, and labor relations matters while promoting fair and consistent employee treatment.
• Assist with talent acquisition activities, onboarding, and employee development and training initiatives.
• Maintain employee records and sensitive information while supporting regulatory and organizational compliance requirements.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives, employee communications, meetings, and other assigned responsibilities while meeting established deadlines.
