InterMed in South Portland, ME seeks a Talent Wellbeing Specialist to guide colleagues through leave, accommodations, and benefits, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and Maine law. The role administers benefit plans and supports informed decisions through strong communication.

You will advise on leave laws, enrollment, and benefits interactions, and partner with HR, Payroll, and vendors to improve processes while maintaining confidentiality and a people-first culture.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of HR leaves and accommodations experience.
• Benefits experience is required.
• PHR/ SPHR/ SHRM certs preferred.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, MFML and related laws.

Responsabilidades

• Guide colleagues through leave, accommodations, and benefits with a people-first approach.
• Administer leave programs and benefit plans, including enrollment and eligibility.
• Advise on leave laws, paid time off, disability, and benefits interactions.
• Maintain clear, timely communication on leave and benefits matters.
• Oversee return-to-work processes and life-event changes.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and vendors to ensure accurate administration.
• Educate managers on best practices for leave and benefits.
• Preserve confidentiality of employee information per HIPAA and policy.
• Manage administration databases to ensure accuracy.
