Job summary

Waypoint Maine, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR department with a focus on leave administration (FMLA, PFMLA), employee loans, workers’ compensation, and benefits administration.

This on-site role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and Maine Care standards while serving as the point of contact for staff on leave, benefits, and safety policies. You will assist with enrollment, coordinate leaves, maintain records, and support onboarding, HRIS

Qualifications

• FMLA and PFMLA leave management knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience with exposure to leave management, benefits administration, and compliance responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
• Coordinate all employee leaves including FMLA and PFMLA.
• Liaise with benefits providers to resolve employee issues in a timely, compliant manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and onboarding support.
• Support HR compliance activities and audits.
