Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Salinas, CA who will be the first face of the brand and lead a team to deliver top-notch service. You will supervise daily operations, coach staff, and ensure an inclusive environment while driving sales and brand knowledge across baby and children’s apparel.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and a readiness to support scheduling, merchandising, and performance metrics on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team by participating in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results utilizing Company tools.
