All Metro Health Care in Port Jefferson, NY, part of Modivcare Personal Care Service, is seeking an Employee Support Specialist to assist onboarding, HR documentation, and benefits education. This role emphasizes helping create a positive employee experience through responsive support.

The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, with 1+ year in HR-related roles and healthcare experience preferred. It is a full-time, on-site opportunity with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in HR onboarding or employee support.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding process for new hires and create a welcoming experience.
• Help with onboarding documentation, background checks, drug screenings, HR forms.
• Coordinate new hire paperwork, orientations, training and development activities.
• Educate employees on benefits and resources, including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Support employee relations by addressing questions and partnering with HR and operations for timely support.
• Collaborate with HR and operations to ensure employees receive needed support and resources.
• Conduct exit interviews and share feedback with HR to identify trends and improvements.
