SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – People & Culture in Columbus, OH to partner with the Store Leader on people operations and customer excellence. You will lead talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and employee relations to foster a high-performing, inclusive team that delivers exceptional service.

You’ll drive scheduling, performance coaching, and learning initiatives, while maintaining compliance and store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail environment
• Strong knowledge of hiring, onboarding, and performance mgmt best practices
• Ability to build pipelines through networking and outreach
• Experience handling employee relations with confidentiality and empathy
• Understanding of customer service principles and business impact
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead a Customer Obsessed team focused on exceptional service.
• Own all talent acquisition for the store, including outreach, interviews, and hiring.
• Hire proactively and maintain a strong bench of candidates.
• Link hiring and staffing to store KPIs and customer experience.
• Own onboarding and ensure new hires are supported for success.
• Manage scheduling and labor planning to meet business demands.
• Identify training needs and build learning plans for career growth.
• Lead performance management routines with clear expectations and coaching.
• Manage employee relations with strong communication and integrity.
• Develop leadership bench and succession plans.
• Create engagement strategies recognizing wins and diversity of voices.
• Ensure compliance with SKIMS policies and labor laws.
