The Iron Horse is seeking a People & Culture Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the hotel's luxury service standards. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality, talent development, and employee engagement.

What will I be doing?

Talent Management:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top hospitality talent for leadership and hourly positions.
  • Oversee onboarding programs for seamless integration of new hires.
Associate Relations & Engagement:
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and associates on HR matters.
  • Address and resolve associate concerns promptly, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Organize engagement and recognition programs aligned with Crescent’s initiatives.
Training & Development:
  • Facilitate training to enhance skills and guest service.
  • Oversee leadership development and succession planning.
  • Ensure timely compliance training for all associates.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Manage payroll processes with Finance for accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer benefits including health insurance, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Monitor industry trends to maintain competitive compensation.
Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and maintain HR records.
  • Lead workplace investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee safety programs and risk mitigation strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a management role in hospitality or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws.
  • Experience with UKG/UltiPro systems and payroll processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
