Manager, P&C Transformation

Remote but Local to Knoxville Market

Global Sr Level Role

Independent role supporting business reorganization requirements/recommendations. Managing large data sets, identifying, recommending & executing process improvements. Navigating difficult HC discussions, cost savings, and having a good understanding of reduction in workforce conversations.

Finance skill set is the priority - Must be confident with data analysis and presentation.


DESCRIPTION:

The role of the P&C Transformation Manager is to facilitate alignment on headcount costs in and out of the business areas and the management of reporting between the P&C Partners, Legal, FP&A, Accounting, and Payroll teams. This is a key role to support business reorganization requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Act as the central point of contact for the global headcount reconciliation process.
  2. Develop an end-to-end process to create efficiencies and collaboration across various teams.
  3. Manage a central tool used to capture specific information as required by FP&A, Legal, and Accounting. Accountable for data accuracy, ensuring the central tool is updated and resolving all discrepancies.
  4. Responsible for fully analyzing data received, preparation of reports ready for validation, and updating the central tool as appropriate.
  5. Work within the expected Accounting/Finance timeframes to ensure month-end and annual close process/deadlines are met.
  6. Design and deliver/facilitate training and communication to the relevant stakeholders.
  7. Facilitate monthly working sessions with regional and divisional groups to review current data, upcoming activities and highlight special circumstances.
  8. Prepare reports and data for P&C, Finance, Legal, and Accounting validation.
  9. Responsible for maintaining the central tool and monthly end-to-end process sign-off and management review.
  10. Single point of contact for internal and external audit teams at quarter and year-end closings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Previous experience in Finance, accounting or P&C preferred.
  2. Strong knowledge of transformation and restructuring best practices.
  3. Experience of working across multiple geographies and multiple clients.
  4. Good verbal/written communication, interpersonal, prioritization, auditing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  5. Strongly proficient in Excel, ideally at Expert Level.
  6. Experienced in working with data and in building reports.
  7. Expert in process design and project management.
  8. Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
  9. Experience in multinational organization a plus.
