Job summary

Global Fund for Women is seeking a People & Culture Officer to lead HR operations, recruit top talent, and advance DEIB initiatives. You will partner with leadership to shape policies, enhance onboarding, and promote an inclusive workplace across a global staff.

This is a hands-on role balancing strategy with daily operations in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. The role emphasizes equity, staff development, and compliance, reporting to the VP of People & Culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive HR or People & Culture experience, nonprofit preferred.
• Experience designing and implementing HR policies, programs, and systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full-cycle recruitment process with hiring managers and pipelines.
• Develop onboarding and offboarding programs and staff engagement initiatives.
• Design and implement DEIB roadmap with cross‑functional partners.
• Advise managers on performance management and feedback processes.
• Monitor compliance with employment laws and maintain clear HR policies.
• Track turnover, time-to-hire, and other key HR metrics to inform decisions.
