The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated HR professional in Florida to support recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. This full-time role focuses on policy guidance, recordkeeping, and compliance within a dynamic corrections and reentry services environment.

Responsibilities include onboarding, training administration, data entry, and maintaining HR records while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years HR experience, or a higher degree with 1 year HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and employment laws.
• Experience with HRIS software preferred.
• Excellent confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting and outreach to meet targets.
• Ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Assist in administration and tracking of employee development training.
• Provide insight into employee concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Onboard new employees, including orientation and policy briefing.
• Maintain records of insurance, retirement plans, and personnel records.
• Process leaves of absence and ensure legal compliance.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports by analyzing trends and identifying issues.
• Support referrals for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
