Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or correctional services preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and handle mental/physical stress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor inmates in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas.
• Coordinate inmate movement and conduct counts; provide emergency response as needed.
• Ensure program activities are conducted safely and supervise labor crews.
• Conduct searches for contraband and confiscate prohibited items as per policies.
• Maintain daily logs including disciplinary reports.
• Provide prompt assistance for injuries, illnesses or trauma.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to keep facility clean.
