Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Talent Analyst to translate workforce data into actionable insights that improve talent acquisition, engagement, development, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, industrial organizational psychology, data analytics, business administration, organizational behavior, or similar area of study or equivalent.
• 3+ years in HR/people analytics or a related data-focused role.
• Demonstrated experience or advanced education in analytics/statistics, computer science, or data science.
• Proficiency in data visualization (Power BI), HRIS platforms (Workday), and survey tools (Qualtrics).
• Familiarity with statistical/predictive analytics (R or Python).
• Strong analytical skillset with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets.
• Knowledge of research methods and best practices related to engagement/experience, development, performance management, talent management, and succession planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze employee data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to develop, engage, and retain talent.
• Build and maintain dashboards, KPI reports, and visualizations on turnover, engagement, mobility, succession, performance, and hiring effectiveness.
• Design and analyze employee surveys to generate meaningful insights.
• Consult with HR leadership on practices in talent management and leadership development.
• Measure the effectiveness of talent programs and recommend improvements.
• Support design of talent management practices and engagement strategies.
• Leverage HRIS (Workday), survey platforms (Qualtrics), and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
• Maintain data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Present findings and recommendations to HR and business leaders.
