Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes, headquartered in Reston, VA, is seeking an HRIS & People Analytics Specialist to maintain Dayforce HRIS, build dashboards, and deliver insights that support business decisions. This role partners with Team and Culture and business units to ensure data integrity, administer HR technology, and transform workforce data into meaningful insights that drive organizational goals.

The position pays between $85,000.00 and $95,000.00 annually and requires 3–5 years of HRIS/analytics

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience supporting HRIS, reporting, analytics, or related HR tech functions.
• Experience with HR systems and developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data management techniques.
• Strong understanding of HR data, workforce metrics, and ability to learn new technologies and train users effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize data and insights for leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver workforce analytics, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting for leaders.
• Analyze workforce data and trends in engagement, hiring, performance, retention, and organizational health to identify risks and opportunities.
• Translate complex people data into executive-ready presentations, reports, and recommendations.
• Design, administer, and analyze employee surveys and listening programs.
• Partner with leaders to define reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Support workforce planning by developing staffing models and headcount visibility.
• Maintain data integrity through governance and validation processes.
