Job summary

San Antonio Spurs is seeking an HRIS & People Analytics Analyst to optimize Dayforce and related HR systems in San Antonio, TX. You will build dashboards, support compensation analytics, and partner with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.

The role requires 2–4+ years in HRIS/people analytics, strong Excel and SQL, and experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. Flexible hours may be needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR/Finance/Data Analytics/IS.
• 2–4+ years in HRIS, people analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Expert in Excel and SQL.
• Experience with HRIS platforms including Dayforce, Oracle HCM, UKG or similar.
• Proficient in Power BI or Tableau for reporting and visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HR processes including payroll, recruiting, and benefits.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize HR systems such as Dayforce or similar.
• Maintain data structures, configurations and workflows aligned with business processes.
• Ensure data integrity through audits, validation, and issue resolution.
• Perform routine data loads, updates and system maintenance.
• Support HRIS data governance, security roles, and audits.
• Assist in UAT and system updates, and manage integrations with other systems.
• Develop dashboards and reports across HR functions; collaborate with People Partners.
• Assist compensation data analysis including salary structures and market pricing.
