Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General seeks an Analyst to support the monthly pension payroll, maintain payee data, and assist in benefit processing. You will respond to retiree inquiries and coordinate with MSRB teams to ensure accurate payments and tax compliance.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proficient use of Office 365 and pensions knowledge, with a hybrid work schedule and ongoing training on retirement rules and related processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Office 365 apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
• Interest in employee benefits administration, payroll, finance, or related field.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn retirement plan rules under Mass General Laws Chapter 32.
• Ability to develop MARIS and MSRBeyond skills and learn new topics.
• Self-motivated with focus and task completion.
• Strong customer support and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented and able to conduct independent research.

Mansioni

• Support monthly pension payroll processes and verify payee data.
• Respond to inquiries from retirees and MSRB teams.
• Monitor and assist in pension payroll reports and anomaly resolution.
• Learn IRS tax rules related to distributions including 1099Rs.
• Assist in non-resident alien address changes and welfare compliance.
• Process benefit-related payables and collateral retiree data in systems.
• Maintain and update demographic and direct deposit data for payees.
• Follow up on outstanding checks and respond to third-party inquiries.
• Adhere to Treasury policies and participate in special projects.
