Job summary

Northwest Administrators, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Pension Accounting & Contract Review to lead the department’s daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance across accounting and contract review activities.

You will oversee labor agreements, coordinate with unions and employers, and drive process improvements while supporting strategic initiatives and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise departmental operations, including oversight of Supervisors and Staff Assistants.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in accounting functions and contract review processes.
• Review and approve labor agreements, extension agreements, and addendums for compliance.
• Communicate with Local Unions and Employers to resolve contract and accounting issues.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to support performance tracking and decision-making.
• Support development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate system updates, releases, and procedural documentation.
• Assist senior leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Perform departmental payroll and other related administrative duties.
