Job summary

Enviva is seeking a maintenance lead to organize and guide technicians across multiple crafts at a pellet plant. You will oversee safety, quality, and timely completion of maintenance tasks with a focus on critical rotating equipment.

Strong background in skilled trades and proven leadership are required to supervise crews, manage work orders, and ensure regulatory adherence in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of practical skilled-trades experience.
• Ability to repair and maintain equipment used in pellet plant operation.
• Experience prioritizing tasks and supervising staff in a maintenance setting.

Responsibilities

• Organizes a team of technicians across craft specialties.
• Instructs and guides crew while performing skilled tasks.
• Ensure safety practices and compliance with codes at all times.
• Oversee work orders, monitor employee time, and manage purchases.
• Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pellet plant machinery and rotating equipment.
