Job summary

Enviva LP is seeking a Pellet Mill Operator to operate and maintain several pellet mills, optimize feed rates, adjust rolls and dies, and monitor pellet quality to meet company standards.

You will assist in QC testing, troubleshoot equipment, perform ash tests, and help maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment in outdoor, industrial conditions. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient in mathematics and measurements.
• Ability to read data and trends to make appropriate process adjustments.
• Proven record in upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment performance and adjust tooling to meet throughput and quality targets.
• Perform inspections and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Review work order specs to determine materials and procedures for producing pellets.
• Adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure and temperatures.
• Monitor operation with gauges and indicators to detect malfunctions.
• Perform or coordinate maintenance and housekeeping to required standards.
