Job summary

Enviva in Virginia is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure preventive maintenance on critical pellet mill machinery around a 24/7 operation. You will follow approved procedures, document inspections, and help improve lubrication programs.

The role requires lifting, working in hot and noisy industrial environments, and occasionally evening or overnight shifts; prior experience with hydraulics, pumps, conveyors, and CMMS is preferred, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to analyze process flow to identify issues.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management system.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain piping and equipment and assist in repairs.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and other equipment.
• Perform/coordinate preventive maintenance and lubrication as scheduled.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and health guidelines and practices.
• Maintain equipment records and improve reliability/performance.
