RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist at Williamson Street Campus to provide non-clinical, peer-based recovery support. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop recovery plans and connect patients with community resources, drawing on your lived recovery experience to inspire hope.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, four years of recovery-related work, and willingness to travel within 60 miles.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in recovery principles.
• Willingness to travel within a 60-mile radius of the assigned hospital for coverage.
• Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification within 6 months.
• Bilingual ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Engage clients with non-clinical support and build trust through lived recovery experience.
• Screen clients and document histories in the electronic health record per IFPR guidelines.
• Create individualized recovery support plans based on client needs and screenings.
• Link clients to non-clinical SDOH-related services and community resources.
• Model professionalism and maintain supportive relationships with clients and families.
• Guide individuals on navigating treatment and community services, coordinating with staff.
• Encourage self-directed recovery choices and empower participants.
• Lead recovery support meetings and document outcomes for grants and continuity of care.
