RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist to provide non-clinical support, develop recovery care plans, educate on recovery models, and connect clients with community resources within a multidisciplinary team.

This full‑time role features three 12‑hour day shifts weekly. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of recovery experience, ability to travel within a 60‑mile radius, and NAADAC‑certification within six months.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 4 years of recovery experience or related field.
• Willingness to travel within a 60‑mile radius for cross coverage.
• Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) within 6 months of employment.
• Bilingual ability and prior Recovery Specialist experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-clinical individual and group support to develop a recovery care plan.
• Educate individuals on recovery models and connect to treatment and community resources.
• Document information in the electronic health record per IFPR guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and community partners to support recovery.
• Facilitate recovery support meetings and groups.
• Support grant compliance and continuity of care through timely documentation.
