RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist to provide non-clinical support and guide individuals through recovery planning. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community resources to connect patients with services that fit their needs.

Responsibilities include client screenings, developing recovery plans, and maintaining accurate documentation while using your lived experience to build trust and empower clients on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 4 years of recovery support experience.
Willingness to travel within a 60-mile radius.
Nationally Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist within 6 months.
Bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide non-clinical individual and group support to develop recovery care plans.
Educate individuals on recovery models and connect to services.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure navigation to treatment.
Document timely, accurate notes in the electronic health record.
Facilitate recovery support meetings and groups.
