Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach to mentor and empower individuals toward long-term recovery and wellness.

You will advocate for individualized services, assist with access to community resources, and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with High School Diploma/GED.
• Peer Support Certification or completion within 90 days.
• Lived Experience meeting AHCCCS Peer Support requirements.
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card eligibility.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License with clean record & reliable transportation (80% field-based work).
• Physical ability to meet job demands (standing/walking 70-90%, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Culturally diverse & inclusive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Utilize personal recovery experience to mentor and support others.
• Advocate for comprehensive, individualized services for program participants.
• Assist with community resource access and vocational/educational opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with CARF, contract, and regulatory standards.
