Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach to create a supportive environment where members achieve long-term recovery and wellness. You will mentor others using personal recovery experiences and advocate for individualized services across the program.

The role emphasizes community outreach, forming strong relationships with clients and partners, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards while supporting access to vocational and educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Peer Support Certification (or complete within 90 days).
• Lived Experience meeting AHCCCS Peer Support requirements.
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card eligibility.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License with clean record & reliable transportation (80% field-based work).
• Physical ability to meet job demands (standing/walking 70-90%, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Culturally diverse & inclusive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Utilize personal recovery experience to mentor and support others.
• Advocate for comprehensive, individualized services for program participants.
• Assist with community resource access and vocational/educational opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with CARF, contract, and regulatory standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
