Tuerk House, Inc is seeking a dedicated Peer Recovery Coach in Highland, MD to support admissions or clinical teams. You will mentor clients in recovery, help them access resources for long‑term stability, and maintain follow‑up with former patients to promote continued engagement and outcomes tracking.

The PRC position emphasizes advocacy, resources coaching, and ongoing support via phone or email, with formal documentation in the Stabilization Center processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CCAR training required or to be obtained within 6 months.
• 0–2+ years in field or related field.
• CPR/AED and de-escalation skills preferred.
• Driver’s license may be required depending on unit placement.
• Prior peer recovery support experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support admissions/clinical director as peer leader and motivator.
• Help clients identify resources for long‑term stability.
• Follow up with former patients, including those not completing the program.
• Maintain client outcomes in the Kipu system.
• Identify obstacles to services and coordinate with recovery teams.
• Assist with discharge planning and community connections.
• Provide peer advocacy and education to clients.
