Job summary

Telecare Corporation in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Coach I to support community mental health services. The role focuses on engaging members, promoting recovery goals, and integrating their preferences into services.

Working Sunday-Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm or Tuesday-Saturday 10:30am-7:00pm. Requires WA Peer Counselor Certification, HS diploma, and driving to appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Washington Peer Counselor Training Program certification.
• One year or part-time equivalent experience in behavioral health.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance in your name.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle to drive clients.
• Willingness to use company vehicle for client transport.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to promote Telecare’s RCCS Recovery Culture.
• Respond to emergencies with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.
