Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree preferred; Bachelor's Degree
• Licensure: Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
• Certification: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Effective verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to established policy and procedure.
• Reviews and documents all clinical information regarding each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures.
• Provides care based on patient age and criteria.
• Adapts care to the patient population with privacy and communication considerations.
• Other related duties as required.
