Job summary

Ochsner Health System seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide RT-CRT services, including diagnostic testing, oxygen therapy and ventilation support for neonatal to geriatric patients.

You will document clinical information, educate patients and staff, and perform procedures per established policies. A state license and NBRC certification are required with BLS/ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice; NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory care procedures per policy.
• Document all clinical information and patient data.
• Educate patients and colleagues on procedures and treatment plans.
