Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in state of practice.
• NBRC Certification as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures per policy.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Provides care appropriate to neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Adapts communication and care to patient population.
