Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in Ocean, NJ is seeking a Practice Administrator to oversee daily operations of West Park Pediatrics, coordinating staffing, scheduling and financial processes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The position requires an associate degree (bachelor preferred), Epic EHR experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to travel between locations while collaborating with senior management to ensure excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Management or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of management experience in a primary care or specialty setting.
• Must be well versed in inter-disciplinary practice environments, with knowledge and experience in patient registration, billing, front-end staffing management.
• Demonstrated experience using Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to create reports, manage schedules, and communicate effectively.
• Process management ability to coordinate staff efforts; conflict resolution and team development experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of healthcare fiscal management.
• Experience with Pediatrics
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages the practice operations of assigned practice sites.
• Collaborates with senior management, Providers, and internal Medical Group departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Partners with Regional Manager and Quality Department to standardize best practices.
• Responsible for measuring and implementing strategies to increase quality and patient outcomes.
• Works with Regional Manager to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Travel will be required between practice locations.
