Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Practice Manager/Administrator for West Park Pediatrics in Ocean, NJ. The role oversees daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and budget processes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of management experience in a primary care or specialty setting, familiarity with Epic EHR, and strong communication skills. Travel between Manalapan, Ocean, Lakewood, and other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of management experience in a primary care or specialty setting
• Proficiency with Epic EHR (EHR system)
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint with reporting and scheduling ability
• Experience coordinating front-end staffing and patient registration/billing
• Understanding of healthcare fiscal management
• Experience with Pediatrics
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manages the practice operations of assigned practice sites in accordance with Medical Group goals and objectives
• Collaborates with senior management, Providers, and internal departments to standardize best practices and processes
• Partners with Regional Manager/Director of Operations to standardize practices across locations
• Measures and implements strategies to improve quality and patient outcomes through the integrated network
• Ensures appropriate staffing and scheduling for practice sites
• Travel between locations as needed

Education

Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Management or other related discipline

Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Management or related discipline
