Job summary

UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics in Butler is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the front desk and patient flow. You will help patients navigate the healthcare system, register them in Biometrics, promote the MyUPMC portal, and educate on financial responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in and copayment collection.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Assist patients in navigating care and provide clear, courteous instructions.
• Register patients in Biometrics and promote use of the MyUPMC portal.
• Explain financial responsibilities and connect patients to available resources.
• Verify insurance information and obtain necessary consent signatures to maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform general office duties.
