Job summary

UPMC in Butler, PA is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the ENT team. You will greet patients upon arrival, check in/out, schedule and reschedule appointments, verify demographics and insurance, and collect co-payments.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, at a new Butler facility opening January 2027; training in North Hills/Wexford. You will provide warm patient care, navigate self-service check-in options, assist with MyUPMC

Qualifications

• Greeting patients and visitors upon arrival.
• Accurate check-in/check-out and appointment scheduling.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; collect payments.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm greeting for all patients.
• Guide patient through self-arrival technology or check-in at desk.
• Collect copayments and any other applicable patient payments at the point of service.
• Confirm and/or update patient registration information at checkout.
• Schedule follow-up appointments within the practice at checkout.
• Assist with enrollment in MyUPMC portal and educate patients on its use.
