Job summary

The South Bend Clinic is seeking a friendly front desk/registration specialist to welcome patients, verify demographics, and guide them through the check-in process. You will handle appointments, payments, and patient inquiries with confidentiality at our South Bend facilities.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a medical front desk role, proficient typing, and familiarity with EPIC. This on-site position offers supportive benefits and opportunities for growth within our healthcare team.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Typing speed of at least 30 wpm preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors.
• Check patients in and out in the EPIC system.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments; confirm changes.
• Collect copays and payments; provide receipts.
• Answer phones, screen calls, and relay messages accurately.
• Provide information on hours, location, restrooms, and facility policies.
