Job summary

Pscfl is seeking a Nursing - Clinical professional to plan and deliver comprehensive pediatric care in a Magnet-designated Urgent Care Center. You will supervise nursing activities, discharge patients, and ensure evidence-based practices under the Nursing Manager/Director.

The role requires an RN with Florida licensure, BLS, and PALS within two years. Strong communication and teamwork support family-centered care and high quality service across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN Licensure in Florida or Multi-State Compact (eNLC) in good standing.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required in good standing.
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 2 years of hire.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient progress, critical findings, and changes in condition with the physician and care team; documents discharge instructions.
• Completes intakes with vitals, weight, height, symptoms, and history to prepare the patient for evaluation.
• Delegates nursing care based on staff qualifications and competency.
• Performs intake assessment for emergency patients and administers medications per orders.
