Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Health System seeks a qualified RN to join the UCC Nursing Float Pool. You will provide patient-centered care for pediatric urgent care, perform assessments, administer medications, and document care in the EMR under supervision of the Nursing Manager/Director.

Required BSN or actively pursuing, Florida eNLC preferred, BLS, PALS within 2 years, CPI within 180 days, and strong teamwork with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in-state or multi-state compact maintenance.
• AHA BLS required and maintained.
• PALS required within 2 years of hire.
• CPI certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient progress and discharge instructions with care team.
• Performs intake assessments and vital signs documentation.
• Delegates nursing tasks based on staff competency.
• Administers medications per six rights and hospital policy.
• Ensures accurate EHR documentation within 24 hours.
