Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our pediatric abdominal transplant team. The APP will work with six colleagues to cover inpatient and outpatient needs for the pediatric kidney and liver transplant programs.

The role involves collaboration with hepatologists, nephrologists, surgeons, nutritionists, social workers, and pharmacists, with a schedule of 10-hour weekdays and weekend 5-hour shifts, and shared 24/7/365 on-call coverage.

Formación

• Must hold Pediatric NP or PA licensure in Arizona.
• At least 1 year NP/PA experience in pediatrics or transplant preferred.
• Inpatient clinical experience required, preferably with transplant patients.

Responsabilidades

• Provide inpatient coverage for liver and kidney transplant programs seven days a week in rotation.
• Provide outpatient coverage for liver transplant program.
• Coordinate pre/post transplant care, education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with transplant team and other disciplines; participate in committee meetings.
