Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our pediatric abdominal transplant team. The NP/PA will support inpatient and outpatient coverage for liver and kidney transplant programs, collaborating with hepatology, nephrology, surgeons, pharmacists and nutritionists.

The role requires Arizona PA or Pediatric NP licensure, pediatric transplant or inpatient experience, and comfort with 24/7 call coverage.

Qualifications

• Arizona PA license or Pediatric NP license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of PA/NP experience in pediatrics or transplant preferred.
• Surgical first assist experience required.
• Inpatient transplant care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient coverage to pediatric liver and kidney transplant programs.
• Provide outpatient follow-up and coordination for transplant patients.
• Discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with hepatologists, nephrologists, surgeons and the transplant team.
• Participate in 24/7 call coverage for the transplant program.
