Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join a growing pediatric abdominal transplant team. This role supports pediatric kidney and liver transplant programs with a team of six APPs, providing inpatient and outpatient coverage across the transplant services.

Required qualifications include Arizona NP or PA licensure and inpatient transplant experience. The position features 10‑hour weekday shifts with weekend coverage in rotation and close collaboration

Qualifications

• Pediatric NP or PA licensure in Arizona is required.
• At least one year of NP/PA experience in pediatrics or transplant preferred.
• Inpatient clinical experience is required, preferably in transplant settings.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient coverage for pediatric liver and kidney transplant patients, including rounds and consults.
• Discharge education and care coordination for transplant recipients.
• Outpatient coverage for the liver transplant program and autonomous clinic work.
• Collaborate with hepatologists, nephrologists, surgeons, nurses and pharmacists.
