Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Part-time Surgical Tech to support the operating room team. Responsibilities include aseptic technique, prepping and arranging supplies, assisting the RN circulator, and maintaining sterility throughout procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and completion of a surgical technology program or military OR training. NBSTSA/NCCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military OR training.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and proper sterile field.
• Assist in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments.
• Support RN circulator with patient prep, equipment, and room turnover.
• Ensure sterility and proper documentation of charges for supplies.
