Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Carolinas Medical Center - LCH: Surgery Room in Charlotte, NC. This full-time night-shift role supports sterile technique, instrument handling, and operating room turnover.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient prep, securing supplies, and collaborating with the RN circulator. BLS required; relevant tech program graduate with possible NBSTSA/NCCT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military training in OR tech.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Assist in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments.
• Assist RN circulator with patient prep, equipment, and room turnover.
