Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support pediatric and special needs patients in a surgical setting. The role includes scrubbing for procedures, instrument sterilization, x-ray duties and assisting with patient transfer, with front desk and patient service duties as part of the position.

The ideal candidate holds an RDA license, a completed accredited program, and a current BLS certificate, plus a year of RDA experience and background

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS Certificate.
• Background and Drug Screening Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist and anesthesia provider with instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies as needed.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases and maintain inventory and stock room.
• Scrub for surgical procedures and sterilize instruments and rooms.
• Take and check x-rays and maintain x-ray equipment.
• Provide care for pediatric and adolescent patients, considering developmental needs.
• Front desk duties and Patient Service Coordinator responsibilities.
