Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support pediatric and special needs patients. The role involves scrubbing for dental surgeries, instrument preparation, and room decontamination, with close collaboration to dentists and the RN Circulator.

Responsibilities include preparing for procedures, maintaining supplies, taking X-rays, assisting with patient transfers, and supporting front desk duties as a Patient Service Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider for instruments, sutures, sponges and supplies.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and equipment and maintaining inventory.
• Maintain decontamination and sterilization per CDC guidelines; clean and stock rooms between cases.
• Take and check X-ray equipment and perform radiographic procedures.
• Assist with patient transfer and turnover of the OR; provide emergency care as directed.
