Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support pediatric and special needs patients. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, surgical prep, and collaboration with dentists and RNs.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited RDA program, active license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RDA experience, with strong attention to safety and sterilization protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited Dental Assistant Program.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS Certificate.
• Background and Drug Screening Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider with instruments, sutures, sponges and supplies.
• Scrub for surgical procedures; clean instruments and rooms; monitor inventory and stock OR rooms.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by assembling supplies and equipment and ensuring availability.
• Take and check x-rays; decontaminate and maintain equipment; sterilize per CDC guidelines.
• Assist with patient transfer and turnover of the OR; participate in emergency care as directed.
• Front desk duties and patient service coordination responsibilities may be included.
