Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant with a passion for serving pediatric and special needs patients. The RDA assists in surgical care, scrubs for procedures, and maintains sterile environments while collaborating with dentists and RNs.

Responsibilities include preparing supplies, managing inventory, taking X-rays, and performing front desk duties as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.
• Current state license to practice as an RDA.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS certificate is required.
• Background and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and anticipate dentist and anesthesia needs with instruments and supplies.
• Prepare for dental surgical cases by gathering supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and stock room.
• Provide care tailored to the pediatric and adolescent patient.
• Assist with patient transfer from bed to gurney.
• Decontaminate and maintain all equipment and rooms.
• Follow CDC guidelines for decontamination and sterilization.
• Take and maintain x-ray equipment.
• Assist in turnover of the OR and delivery of emergency care.
• Front desk duties and Patient Service Coordinator responsibilities.
