Job summary

Soliant Health in Illinois is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a welcoming school setting for the full school year, with a balanced schedule and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
  • CCC-SLP or CFY status accepted as eligible.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Comfort with technology and ability to deliver teletherapy services.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Keep thorough records of assessments, progress, and interventions according to school policies.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to generalize therapy gains across settings.

Job description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming educational setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with children and collaborate alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team for the full school year.

In this role, you’ll engage with students to help them overcome communication challenges, contributing to their academic and personal growth. Leverage your expertise in speech therapy to provide both in-person and teletherapy sessions, ensuring each student receives personalized support tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Comfortable with technology and able to effectively deliver teletherapy services
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills

This flexible part-time contract position spans the entire school year, providing a balanced schedule for professionals seeking meaningful work in a school environment.
