Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in a school-based setting near Freeport, IL. This 22.5-hour week role (3 days) runs through the end of the school year in early June 2027 and emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective IEP-driven therapy and progress monitoring.

Ideal candidates are licensed SLP with SLP-CCC in Illinois; Clinical Fellows or new graduates are welcome.

Job description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students in a school-based setting near Freeport, IL. This part-time position (22.5 hours per week across 3 days) offers you the chance to make a true impact, collaborating within a dedicated educational team. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year in early June 2027.

Ideal candidates hold expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, with a focus on pediatric and academic settings. Those who are Clinical Fellows (CF) or new graduates are encouraged to applyyour fresh perspective is welcomed and valued.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric, elementary, or school-based settings preferred
  • Comfortable developing and implementing IEP goals, tracking student progress, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Sensory integration knowledge or experience working with school-aged children is a plus
  • Clear communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct direct therapy sessions for elementary students, focusing on speech, language, and communication needs
